Lean to Greenhouses

If you have a location available on your house wall it is ideal to home a lean-to greenhouse.

Dwarf wall, cedar panels or glass to ground - the choice is yours. Each building is created individually to your unique requirement. Constructed entirely from Western Red Cedar and using 4mm English toughened safety glass.

A simple method to give you a rough cost of a standard lean-to model is:

Add the width and the depth of your required building and times it by 180.

(i.e 15ft plus 10ft = 25 25 x 180 = 4500)

Total cost £4500.00 (inc. VAT, delivery and installation).

MAINTENANCE FREE ROOF

ALUMINIUM CAPPING TO HOLD THE GLASS ON THE ROOF

Although cedar wood is durable and generally requires staining once every 2-3 years, the aluminium capping (optional with our greenhouses) provides a maintenance-free roof for those who wish to avoid climbing to attend to their greenhouse. With this system, the glass sits on top of the rafters on a rubber strip and the aluminium secures the glass in place. This leaves no wood on the roof exposed to the elements, making looking after your greenhouse a pleasure, not a chore!

GREENHOUSE BLINDS (NEW FOR 09)

Blinds for our greenhouses are now available. They fit any square or rectangular building at a cost of 15% (approx) in addition to the standard price

Our Cedar Water Butt

Our new Contemporary Cedar Water Butt has the beauty of wood but the durability of plastic. It comes with a brass tap and lift off lid, the inside has PVC liner to prevent leaks. The cedar butt has a large capacity of 65 gallons (approx).

The Griffiths Collection of lean to greenhouses was named as a tribute to, and, in loving memory of Joseph David Griffiths. A much loved family member and wonderful person who was a valued member of our Woodpecker team. Joe died tragically on 25th December 2004 he was only 19 years of age.
